At heart, I am both an educator and a learner. My background in leadership and communication has laid a robust foundation for my career in UX. Having navigated my own challenges and subsequently rising as a beacon in my endeavors, I know the value of resilience, adaptability, and clarity - all principles I apply in my design process.
Once upon a time...
This philosophy can be best seen in my brainchild, the "WATS 4 Dinner" app. Inspired by everyday conversations with my mother and later my husband, about dinner choices.
Hide & Seek
Recognizing a gap in the market for a social-media-centric recipe app that also allows users to whip up meals based on available ingredients, my husband and I set forth on the journey to make this vision a reality.

Backed by enthusiastic feedback from friends, family, and preliminary market research, "WATS 4 Dinner" is now in its testing phase, ever-evolving based on user feedback.

For me, being a UX designer isn't just about creating user interfaces. It's about understanding human behavior, predicting user needs, and crafting experiences that resonate. The role is, as I see it, a harmonious blend of student and teacher - forever learning from the world and imparting that wisdom through intuitive designs.
Usability Testing
After creating a clickable prototype of the app, I concluded a moderated, remote usability test with 5 users to see how I could improve the design and functionality of the app.

When I'm Not Designing...
Away from design, my life is a canvas painted with diverse interests. I immerse myself in the soothing strains of the harp and let my imagination flow with acrylics and watercolors. I find solace in nature, cherishing the beauty God has created. My thirst for knowledge often sees me diving into new learning experiences and sharing insights with a community of faith-driven entrepreneurs and coaches. It’s in these myriad activities that I draw inspiration and rejuvenation, feeding back into my design ethos.
AI Prompt Whisperer!
A particular passion of mine is working with AI prompts. I thrive on the challenge and magic of converting ethereal concepts into tangible realities. By manipulating and experimenting with AI-driven content, I aim to craft dreamlike worlds, actualize them into authentic imagery and material, and ignite emotions that range from pure joy to profound introspection. This unique intersection of technology and creativity allows me to bring a smile to a face, to propel an entrepreneur's vision forward, or to simply breathe life into an abstract idea.
